Retinyl Palmitate

Description

Retinyl palmitate or Vitamin A palmitate is a strong antioxidant, easy to absorb, and with an amazing ability to enhance collagen production and cell turn-over. This is why it is used commonly in anti-aging and moisturizing products. Retinyl palmitate is an alternative for Retinol as some skin types react to retinol.
Retinyl palmitate is a gentle exfoliator, leaving the skin brighter, radiant, and blemish-free. Using retinol with other exfoliants like AHAs and BHAs can leave the skin dry and cause irritation, you should keep that in mind when creating your formula. However, it can be paired with Ferulic acid, Vitamins E and C.

Soluble in oil. Use at cool-down phase
