Xanthan gum

Description

Xanthan gum is a natural gum polysaccharide created through the fermentation of sugar (glucose or sucrose) by Xanthomonas campestris bacteria.
It is used as a thickener in cosmetics. It is an excellent natural source thickener for lotions, creams, liquid soap, shower gels, body washes, and shampoos.

Recommended usage rate: 0.1-2%
Soluble in water
