Behentrimonium chloride

Behentrimonium chloride is a cationic emulsifier and an anti-static ingreidient that is used to condition the hair.
It is also used as a preservative to prevent bacteria in products. Behentrimonium chloride soften coarse hair and is found mostly in leave-in and rinse-out conditioners that are cream-like.
Note that Behentrimonium chloride is not self emulsifying hence would need stablilizers to achieve a stable emulsion
