Clove Hydrosol can be used very effectively for its antifungal, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, antiviral properties. The hydrosol is much less aggressive than the essential oil. Spray it on the skin for a numbing sensation. We recommend that before using it topically on the skin you do a skin test, especially for sensitive skins and avoid spraying clove hydrosol around the eyes. Clove Hydrosol can be used in lotions, creams, bath preparations or straight on the skin. It provides mild tonic and skin cleansing properties and is generally safe for all skin types.
