Description

Glycolic acid is an Alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that gently exfoliates the skin while drawing moisture to the new skin surface. It has proven to be active in treating acne, reduce wrinkles, and is effective in anti-aging products. Glycolic acid has also been found to be effective as an ingredient-penetration agent.
Glycolic acid when used in a higher percentage is a favorite in chemical peels. It is safe to use when used in its recommended usage rate.

Recommended usage rate: 1-20%; 14.5% is ideal for AHA peels
