Polyquaternium-7 is basically used as a hair conditioning agent. Polyquaternium 7 is a water-soluble cationic co-polymer. It is found in most cosmetic products like shampoos and conditioners as an active ingredient, since it has the ability to detangle and straighten uncontrollable hair.
It is also an ingredient in spray-on conditioners and also for leave-on conditioners to make hair silky soft and easy to comb.
