Polyvinylpyrrolidone K-90 is a water-soluble polymer with fine bio-stability. It is a linear nonionic polymer that is chemically stable and has low toxicity. It is used in products to provide stability in mixture of creams and lotions. It also serves as binders,film makers, in cosmetics.
PVP at a concentration of 1-5 / 0% is used as a binder in lipstick containing high levels of colored materials.
Also, you can find PVC in haircare products such as gel,styling creams, hair sprays, because of its capacity to give a strong stiff hold, and forms a thin coating around the hair that helps keep the hair in your desired position.

PVP-K90 is also used in makeup products like mascara to promote disbandment of pigment.
